HERIT4AGES Presented at PLGBC Webinar
On 12 June 2025, the HERIT4AGES project was presented by our partner Łukasiewicz – Warsaw Institute of Technology on a national webinar dedicated to Horizon Europe – current and planned competition topics, organised by the Polish Green Building Council (PLGBC).
Katarzyna Nowak and Arkadiusz Nawrot from Łukasiewicz – Warsaw Institute of Technology introduced HERIT4AGES to a professional audience of scientists and experts from the construction sector. Their presentation covered the project’s concept, innovative solutions, demonstration sites, and the international consortium. The session illustrated how HERIT4AGES integrates technological innovation and sustainability to support the adaptive reuse of heritage buildings, transforming them into climate-resilient, future-ready spaces.
The webinar explored the key principles of Horizon Europe and provided practical guidance on how to apply for R&D funding under international cooperation frameworks successfully. Participants were also introduced to the Built4People European Partnership and upcoming funding opportunities in 2025/2026 related to low-emission technologies and energy-efficient construction.
The webinar was organised as part of the PLGBC Experts series by the Polish Green Building Council (PLGBC). This non-profit member organisation supports sustainable construction and energy-efficient transformation of the built environment in Poland. The webinar focused on EU funding instruments in Horizon Europe, highlighting practical experiences from ongoing projects and providing guidance to stakeholders on preparing competitive proposals.
