HERIT4AGES Partners Meet for Technical Exchange
A recent technical visit within the HERIT4AGES project brought together partners to exchange knowledge and expertise on the development of innovative materials for heritage renovation.
Artur Miros, Director of the Center of New Technologies in Construction at Łukasiewicz – Warszawski Instytut Technologiczny, visited the facilities of project partner CETIM to discuss ongoing work and explore approaches to scaling up newly developed materials.
The visit focused on the development of sustainable and detachable construction solutions for heritage buildings, including applications for raised floors, cladding panels, and suspended ceilings. These solutions are being designed to improve energy performance and sustainability while remaining compatible with heritage values.
Within the HERIT4AGES project, CETIM is leading the development of composite materials derived from local waste streams, contributing to more resource-efficient renovation approaches.
This exchange highlights the importance of collaboration and technical dialogue between partners in advancing innovative solutions and supporting their implementation in real-world contexts.
