HERIT4AGES Presented in Argentina
The HERIT4AGES project was recently presented in Santa Fe, Argentina, bringing together professionals in architecture, urban planning, and heritage conservation at the Architects and Urban Planners Association of the Province of Santa Fe.
During the session, Ana Magdalena Molina (Foundation Santa María la Real), representing the project, introduced our approach to energy-efficient retrofitting of heritage buildings. The presentation focused on the use of sustainable materials and solutions compatible with heritage values, as well as the importance of balancing energy performance, comfort, and preservation.
The meeting provided a valuable opportunity for international knowledge exchange, particularly in light of the recently launched RAÍCES project, which connects initiatives in Argentina and Europe and shares similar objectives in the field of heritage renovation.
The event was also featured in a news article published by the hosting association. The article highlights the exchange of experiences between professionals working in Europe and Argentina, covering:
contemporary practices in conservation and restoration,
the integration of sustainable materials in heritage interventions,
adaptation to regulatory frameworks,
and the role of energy efficiency in preserving historic buildings.
The publication also includes a short video from the event, the HERIT4AGES presentation, and a project poster, offering additional insight into the session and the topics discussed.
This activity represents an important step in expanding HERIT4AGES outreach beyond Europe, supporting collaboration and dialogue with international stakeholders.
