HERIT4AGES Research Will Be Presented at eCAADe 2026
HERIT4AGES research will be featured at the 44th Annual Conference of the Association for Education and Research in Computer Aided Architectural Design in Europe – eCAADe 2026, taking place from 7 to 11 September 2026 at Technische Hochschule Lübeck in Lübeck, Germany.
The paper, “Digital Twin Service for Energy Efficiency in Heritage Buildings: Technological Framework and Demonstration within the HERIT4AGES Project,” presents the project’s Digital Twin Service for energy efficiency in heritage buildings, including its technological framework and demonstration within HERIT4AGES.
It was authored by Angelo Massafra, Riccardo Gulli, Mikel Borràs Morrison, Luís Ángel Ibáñez Adrián, Genís Carrillo García, Ana Magdalena Molina Sturm, Musannif Shah, Chantal Basurto and Carlos Ernesto Ochoa Morales.
eCAADe 2026 will focus on the theme “Informed Creativity and Fabrication in Architecture and Engineering.” The conference will explore theoretical and applied approaches to artificial intelligence, automated fabrication and digital methods in architecture and engineering.
Its programme covers topics including:
digital twins,
building information modelling,
digital heritage and conservation,
Internet of Things technologies,
simulation and computational design,
and more.
The HERIT4AGES paper is scheduled for Friday, 11 September 2026, during the morning Session 7. Each paper in the session is allocated 15 minutes, including the presentation, questions and transition to the following contribution.
We look forward to seeing HERIT4AGES research shared with the international eCAADe community and to bringing further updates from the conference.
