Spanish HERIT4AGES Demo Site Milestone Featured on BUILD UP
Only recently, we shared an important milestone from the HERIT4AGES demonstration sites in Spain, where new renovation solutions were installed at the Romanesque Hermitage of Canduela and Posada Santa María la Real in Aguilar de Campoo. Now, this progress has been featured in a dedicated article on BUILD UP– the European portal for energy efficiency and renewable energy in buildings.
The article takes a closer look at both Spanish demonstration sites and their complementary roles within HERIT4AGES. While the Heritage Testing Lab in Canduela enables controlled testing and comparison of renovation solutions, the Posada Santa María la Real Living Lab provides a real-use environment for evaluating their performance in an actively used historic building.
The BUILD UP article also explores the recent installation activities, environmental monitoring and co-creation with local stakeholders. It highlights how these activities will contribute to evaluating the performance of HERIT4AGES solutions and developing reversible, resource-efficient and heritage-compatible approaches to building renovation.
The feature also includes our recently released videos, providing a closer look at the Heritage Testing Lab in Canduela and installation activities at Posada Santa María la Real.
We are pleased to see this HERIT4AGES milestone reaching the wider European building and renovation community.
