HERIT4AGES outcomes will be presented at October events
This October, HERIT4AGES will be represented by a project partner, Tyndall National Institute (TYN), which will present key HERIT4AGES outcomes, highlighting how the project’s findings can support the future of heritage restoration and contribute to more sustainable, energy-efficient approaches to heritage buildings.
Built4People Partnership event - Brussels
On 6 October 2026, TYN will present HERIT4AGES project outcomes at the Built4People event, hosted at CINEA, Brussels, as part of the Partnership, to representatives of the European Commission and the European Construction and sustainable built environment Technology Platform (ECTP).
Built4People stakeholder forum 2026 - Brussels
On 7 October 2026, the project outcomes will be presented at the 5th Built4People Partnership Stakeholder Forum hosted by the European Commission, European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), the European Construction and sustainable built environment Technology Platform (ECTP) and the European Network of Construction Companies for Research & Development (ENCORD) at BuildWise, Zaventem - Brussels.
Key topics include:
defence, preparedness, security and technological sovereignty in the built environment;
circularity and resource-efficient construction solutions;
industrialisation and scale-up in construction;
the role of artificial intelligence and robotics in supporting climate resilience and the robustness of the built environment;
affordable housing as a driver for inclusive and resilient communities;
the New European Bauhaus and the transition beyond pilot projects.
Built4People brings together policymakers, industry representatives, researchers and other key stakeholders from across Europe to discuss how research, innovation and collaboration can contribute to a more resilient built environment.
EEHB Conference 2026 - France
From 13 to 14 October 2026, the 6th Energy Efficiency in Historic Buildings Conference, organised by Cerema and co-funded by the French Ministry of Sustainable Development, will take place at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France. The event will bring together researchers, practitioners and policymakers to discuss recent developments and approaches for improving energy efficiency in historic buildings.

Climate change impact on indoor climate;
Bio-based materials;
AI and digital tools for heritage retrofit;
