HERIT4AGES Represented at the Culture Night - Cork City 2026
Culture Night - Cork City 2026 took place on 18 September, giving the general public the opportunity to explore the city's culture free of charge. The Arts Council, in partnership with the Arts Office of Cork City Council, organised the event.
Galleries, theatres, artists’ workshops, venues, cultural organisations and many more opened their doors to everyone and showcased their work. HERIT4AGES took part among all the participants. Thanks to the representation of the project partner, Tyndall National Institute, around 150 visitors had the chance to learn about HERIT4AGES, watch the project video and ask questions about heritage building preservation.
Culture Night offers an important opportunity to connect HERIT4AGES research with the wider public and highlight the role of innovation and sustainability in preserving Europe’s built heritage.
