ECTP 2026 Conference in Retrospect

In 2026, HERIT4AGES participated in a variety of events across Europe. Among them was the 2026 ECTP (European Construction Technology Platform) Conference, at the Thon Hotel Bristol Stephanie in Brussels, Belgium, focused on “Building Europe’s Competitiveness in the Built Environment: from Strategic Vision to Industrial Impact”.

Project partners LWIT and FENIX TNT’s Michal Klauda represented HERIT4AGES to more than 150 attendees, including representatives from industry, research organisations, public authorities, European institutions and innovation networks. During the conference, participants had the opportunity to discuss ways to strengthen Europe’s long-term competitiveness, sustainability and resilience within the built environment.

Over the two days, discussions explored topics including:

  • digitalisation,

  • artificial intelligence and data-driven solutions,

  • circularity,

  • affordable housing,

  • industrial transformation,

  • advanced construction technologies,

  • cultural heritage, healthy and inclusive living environments,

  • and innovation ecosystems.

Through keynote sessions, panels, workshops and technical discussions, participants shared perspectives and strengthened connections across the European built environment community.
