Monitoring and Installation Activities at the Tartu Demo Site

At the Tartu demonstration site, installation activities related to HERIT4AGES renovation solutions have been coordinated alongside environmental monitoring procedures.

As part of Task 7.2, wall panels are being installed while existing sensors are carefully repositioned and protected. The coordination between installation works and monitoring activities ensures that environmental measurements continue in a controlled and traceable manner.

Particular attention is paid to moisture monitoring, including sensor placement near the original wall structure. This approach supports the careful assessment of conditions during the implementation of renovation solutions in a protected historic building.

The monitoring process is organised in defined phases, with partners aligning sensor relocation and measurement timelines to ensure the correct interpretation of collected data.

The Tartu demo site continues to play an important role in validating HERIT4AGES solutions under real building conditions, combining technical installation with structured monitoring procedures.
